"That does sound like progress."

Watson sets his book aside and stands, coming to kiss Johnny lingeringly in greeting, his hand resting on Johnny's upper arm. Ah, the smell of sweat and sport. "Still, I hope Sarge hasn't been too rough on you today. How do you feel?"

The kiss definitely reinvigorates him. It's not wholly unlike CPR for the soul.

"Better now. But warm, sweaty and tired, in general. I'm probably going to hop into the shower, wash this all off."

It is a shame that even in nice suites, cruise ship showers are generally not large enough for two grown men.

That is indeed a shame.

"That's not a bad idea. The heat should loosen you up, too." A thought occurs to Watson, and he smiles suddenly. "On the other hand, I could offer a therapeutic massage, rub you down so you aren't quite so sore tomorrow. How does that strike you?"

"You'd want to touch me while I'm this sweaty and sticky and gross?"

John, that's gay. Johnny grins, though, immediately shedding his shirt and casting it aside before giving Watson a playful look.

Yes, it is gay, that is the point.

"You could shower first if you wanted," Watson says, his voice a low rumble. He moves in close to slide his hands over Johnny's skin. "But, my dear, you are never gross. I don't think you're capable of it. You're far too elegant. "

He presses a kiss against Johnny's neck, and then forces himself to pull away, because he really does have a genuine desire to offer some sort of helpful post-workout massage. "Come lie down and I'll see if I can't do some good for some sore muscles."

Johnny peels off his shirt before laying belly-down on the bed, turning his head to the side to smile warmly at Watson.

"I welcome the attempt. Any time you have your hands on me, I feel more relaxed."

"Hm, I find the opposite result, when I have my hands on you. Oh, but I am attempting to be professional right now, aren't I?"

Watson finds a spot to sit down, and at first just smooths his hands over Johnny's back, his touch light and exploratory, automatically naming muscle groups in his head. A little firmer, he presses his fingers into the flesh of Johnny's lower back, starting there and working in small circles upwards.

"Well. You certainly don't have to stay professional, if the spirit moves you." That's a very clear invitation, Johnny's lips quirking in a wry smile. Because he's caught onto the fact that he's been invited to a seduction, now, and he's entirely willing to play along with it.

"Ah, that would be some shockingly poor morals on my part, surely? Making offers under false pretenses like that."

As he speaks, Watson lets his fingers work into Johnny's muscles with slow, firm pressure. Seduction is a fun game, but also genuinely working out any aches before they become a problem is important too. Both. Both are good. "Any particularly sore places that might require some special attention?"
