It takes a pause before César rumbles up a soft laugh, because thinking is hard still, and it takes a moment. "To show you. M'barely awake, c'mon. I always love you."

Sleepy enough to not speak perfectly and to be boneless. No masks. Just a sleepy husband.

"I know you do. I love you too."

But the teasing had been too tempting. Watson takes César's hand in his and brings it to his mouth, to kiss his fingers lazily and take some of the sting out of his words.

César's wiggles his fingers a bit before Watson brings them to his mouth to kiss. There's no resistance. Just an amused chuckle.

He's yet to open his eyes again. "Mmm. You love hands, too. You write about them all the time."

Oh, now he's awake enough to tease back. The downside to your husband having read all your stories.

"What nonsense. I haven't any notion where you get such ideas."

It's a little embarrassing to be called out like this, but not embarrassing enough to stop playing with César's fingers. "I simply appreciate every part of my husband's anatomy."

César's at least kind enough to not tease him further and end the moment.

"You do appreciate all of me." He lazily kisses Watson's hair. "The inside of my wrist is especially sensitive, if you're curious."

Johnny discovered how sensitive he can get during some fun touch play.

"Is it? That sounds like the sort of thing that requires investigation."

He presses his mouth against César's wrist, seeking out the pulse point with his lips.

César sucks in a breath. It's not just Watson's lips, but his mustache and even his stubble, if only slight. Oh... that's nice.

"Johnny found feather light touches brushing against my skin can steal all the thoughts from my mind...."

He's not interested in getting off right now so much as being cherished. An appetizer to start the day.
