César smiles wider and walks over to Watson, taking his hand and leaning over as he brings it to his mouth to kiss his knuckles.

Watson allows this, for a moment, before tugging César down onto the sofa with him for a more thorough kiss. He is not in the mood for gentle politeness, but for indulgent cuddles.

There's just enough time for César to laugh before they're kissing. He sinks into it and the couch, a hand resting on the inside of Watson's thigh.

Watson gathers César close to him, kissing him firmly as he twists the two of them into a comfortable situation. "Thank you," he murmurs, "for this. It's a welcome distraction."

César gets comfortable, letting Watson taking the lead as he needs. He smiles at Watson tenderly as the other man speaks. Before he replies himself, he has to run a hand through Watson's hair.

"You're welcome. And you can bother me any time for more." César kisses him gently. "We need to watch more things together. The three of us."

He had already explained to Watson that he had watched quite a few performances in person but also bootlegs in order to better 'fit in' when they moved primarily to Europe just before Rex was born. Which. Yeah.
